International Orders*The Manfrotto 396AB-2 Articulated Arm supports up to 11 lbs and offers excellent performance: robustness, lightness and versatility. The 396 family has been developed to provide greater rigidity and support than the 196 range, while maintaining flexibility thanks to its extendable sliding arm, further enhanced by its quick lock system.
The maximum Length of the 396AB-2 is 24.5 inches, and the new bottom attachment adds to the strength and versatility of the 396AB-2, with a spigot that combines both a hexagonal part for anti-rotation attachment in the Superclamp and a universal adapter section (for attaching to a wide range of stands, clamps and accessories).

Comments about Manfrotto Double Articulated Arm - 2 Sections Without Camera Bracket:
I'm a fan of Manfrotto clamps and arms, and these are a great addition to my gear. I am afraid that some poor soul will see the reference to a camera bracket and think that this arm is an adequate substitute for a tripod. Ain't so. Though sturdy and easy to use, these arms have real limits when it comes to weight bearing, and the mode of failure can be catastrophic. Unlike magic arms which generally fail by showing a slow slippage from their assigned position, the articulated arms tend to fail suddenly and completely.
If you use them sanely and as designed, staying within their assigned weight limits the Articulated Arms are incredibly handy to have around. I use them for lighting, and with a clip I attached, even for product placement.

Comments about Manfrotto Double Articulated Arm - 2 Sections Without Camera Bracket:
Very good articulated arm. Capable of holding my Elinchrom Quadra flash head with a 22" plastic beauty dish. Also very sturdy for Speedlights.
Requires a Mathews clamp or a Manfrotto clamp if attachment to the pole of a light stand is desired.

Comments about Manfrotto Double Articulated Arm - 2 Sections Without Camera Bracket:
I had previously purchased the single arm version in 3 sections, and I love its tweak-ability. However, when extended holding a DSLR, it starts to flex. I bought the Double Arm version as a stronger option when needed and this thing is plenty heavy duty to hold a substantial weight without flexing. Additionally the dual arms make it easier to manuever into different positions without it flopping around like the single arm version. The only downsides are that its not as light as the single arm, and is not as tweak-able on all axis as the single arm. I like having both.
