Comments about Avenger Low Base Roller Light Stand 36 (Chrome-plated, 11.8'):

I am a wedding photographer and when it comes to getting everyone ready for their staged pictures I can trust on my avenger light stand to firmly hold my strobe lights in order for me to take the photos i need. It can reach great heights and holds more than 88 pounds, which is more than reassuring that my lighting equipment is safe.

Comments about Avenger Low Base Roller Light Stand 36 (Chrome-plated, 11.8'):

Used for fashion photography and portraits on location. Great quality. What I particularly love about Avenger is how reliably and smooth the knobs tighten. You have great feedback in your hands how tight the knobs on the risers are already tightened.

Another advantage is that it folds small - 14 inches shorter than the Matthews medium roller stand and it weighs also 7 pounds less and carries more easily - important if you are using the stand on location.

I generally love Avenger stands. They are so well made and give you a very good and reliable feeling when using them - the feeling using high quality and good product.

I use with a boom for either hair light or beauty dish. Very sturdy and easily holds boom, strobe and weight on boom. Rather heavy, which is great for stability, but may make it a bit of work to take out of the studio. The rollers really help me shoot as it's so much easier to move lights to get a perfect effect. I'd buy it again.

I use this in my studio. I have an avenger boom on it with a monolight and a 35lb sandbag as counterweight. The stand itself is further weighed down by a 20lb sandbag on its base (though it probably doesn't need to be). The unit is built like a tank. Casters can be locked in position, which further helps keep the whole thing in place. Excellent product, would definitely buy again.

Comments about Avenger Low Base Roller Light Stand 36 (Chrome-plated, 11.8'):

I received this stand today. After trying to use the Avenger D600 Mini Boom on other light stands that I thought to be heavy duty, this is like night and day. I probably over did it in getting a stand of this capacity, but I do not regret it. Its heavy, strong and it just looks right in comparison to the heaviest of my other light stands, which were clearly an acciddent waiting to happen. I installed a 1000 WS monolight and strip soft box at the full boom extension and I feel confident that it's going to stay where I put it with no danger of falling over. The locking casters work beautifully, and the wide sread of the legs provide great security against the possibility of tipping when the boom is extended to its maximum length.
