The Westcott Spiderlite TD5 light fixture accepts tungsten (2800° K) or fluorescent (5000° K) bulbs. Three separate controls allow running of multiple combinations of bulbs together with no color shift. It has all-metal construction with built-in points for direct attachment of a softbox -- no adapter ring is necessary.
This Medium One Light Kit includes a 24 x 32" silver interior softbox, tilt bracket, and 10' heavy duty light stand. Bulbs must be ordered separately. This kit is equipped for use with 120 Volt AC current.

Comments about Westcott Spiderlite TD5 Medium One Light Kit (120VAC):
I purchased this light to supplement natural light when photographing newborns and babies. I wasn't sure what to expect but it is perfect! It was easy to put together by myself. It provides continuous light sufficient for lighting one newborn or baby. The literature says it can be used for 2 people, but I think that is a stretch. It allows me to photograph newborns without a distracting flash. My only complaint is that the stand is fairly tall making it difficult when my tiny subjects are on the ground.

Comments about Westcott Spiderlite TD5 Medium One Light Kit (120VAC):
Continuous lighting is great for portraits. Takes the guessing out.Budget permitting, you can expand on the system by adding more TD 5s. That is what I did. I now have two medium kits that I use for my Portrait sessions. The 'controllable' light output makes this even more versatile. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a reliable lighting system. You cannot go wrong with this.
