A speed ring is required but not included with this unit. Please be sure to purchase an appropriate speed ring for the light you are using.
Westcott has improved its softbox design, using heat-resistant fabric for its silver, or white interior softboxes. The rods are made of sprung steel. The rear of the boxes are rounded, to eliminate light flare.
Heat vents help to dissipate heat of up to 1000 watts. This is a 24 x 32", white interior softbox.
Suggested uses: A two-person portrait, or one-person, 3/4 length setup.

I've delayed purchasing softboxes until I found just the right ones for my work. I purchased two of these and can't tell you how satisfied I am. I ran a two hour shoot using 750W constant lights and the softbox material remained cool throughout the shoot.
Although I've seen one other photographer work at putting together a softbox, this baby goes together in a snap. No question I'd buy again if the need arises.
