The AudioSource EQ 200 is a two-channel graphic equalizer, designed for use within a home entertainment system. Each channel features ten bands of boost/cut EQ and all twenty sliders contain illuminated LEDs, which makes it easy to check settings even from across the room.
Equalizers are the most cost effective way to improve any home audio system. Flat frequency response is a feature of any great system, but this can be impeded by room size and shape, source material and the limits of any sound system. The EQ 200 can negate poor acoustics, help balance low-quality recordings and make a system sound more realistic.
Additional features include a bright spectrum analyzer display that allows one to monitor the audio system's output. Left and right sliders can be set independently, as can level controls for each channel. With a 95dB signal to noise ratio and 0.01% THD, the EQ 200 will quietly balance any system.
Aside from slightly better performance specifications over the EQ100, the EQ 200 provides two independent output level controls and a second tape monitor loop.

Great product - better than expected from reading the product description. Returned another brand from another vendor, which didn't live up to expectations. The AudioSource seems to be a knockoff of a very nice TEAC equalizer that I have from many years ago, now broken. The AudioSource unit has the same rear connections and front controls but seems to be even better quality. Lots of inputs for much more versatility than I need at the moment. The manual is very good although a schematic circuit diagram like the Teac's would have been helpful. One feature that should be included though are input/output mini jacks for connecting accessories like today's mp3 players. I had to get adapters to connect my iPod. That's why I knocked off one star. Seems outdated without the 3.5 mm jack in this iPod age. [...]

i've had other equalizers but this is by far the best.i use the spectrum analyzer to accurately adjust the sound. For the price, it has very little distortion. Easy to set up. I would definitely recommend this device to anyone thinking of expanding their audio system!

Comments about AudioSource EQ 200 Graphic Equalizer:
When I heard how the EQ 200 transformed my music in my system, I don't know how I did without it before. All those small instruments and gadgets came jumping out of the speakers. I heard sounds didn't even know they were there, the bass, drums and strings sounded like they were playing right in the room. Not to mention vocals. Perfect add-on for an audiophile like me and the quality vs price makes me glad I didn't pass up buying it.

Comments about AudioSource EQ 200 Graphic Equalizer:
Graphic EQs for your stereo system are getting to be quite hard to come by these days. The way this item sells out is proof of that. I've had this on my wish list for quite some time and every time I had to money to buy it seemed to be out of stock. Finally got one as soon as I got B&H's e-mail notification. Have not been disappointed yet. Nice old school design really helps round out my analog stereo system. Got this to balance out the acoustic weaknesses in my listening space. It has really opened up the dynamic range of my vinyl collection. I just spent a good deal of money on an Audio Technica turntable so the small extra investment for a good graphic EQ was a no brainer.

I needed this equalizer to balance treble and bass controls on my mid-end stereo. It does the job very neatly, with a minimum of audio interference or background noise. It is simple to set up, easy to use and has enhanced the sound of my stereo significantly. Highly recommended!

I would not get this eq if you're looking for something with a any quality. I got it and it's very cheaply made. I read a lot of reviews before buying, all say they're decent, but they are not. they're very cheap. Now, i am looking for another eq to upgrade. if you're looking for an eq, you might as well get one that's worth it. don't get this one.

Comments about AudioSource EQ 200 Graphic Equalizer:
I use this EQ system to help me restore 8-track, reel to reel and cassette tapes from the 60's & 70's. Even after final mixes I find the EQ can bring out the best sound I can get and the display helps with identifying problem frequencies (too much-too little). Anyone who's been around and prefers old-school analog will appreciate this unit.

Comments about AudioSource EQ 200 Graphic Equalizer:
I am using this product at my ski house in an upper-middle-end stereo system which also has a powered sub-woofer. It adds no noise that I can discern, and does enhance significantly one's control over the distributed frequencies. There are two potentiometers per channel which allow one to modulate the overall output from each side-usually one would keep these at maximum, but if you do, the LED spectrum display (which is kinda dorky) pegs at the red end, so the display is essentially useless, unless you dial it down making the unit act like a giant power drain.
It is a good 10 Band equilizer however.

Comments about AudioSource EQ 200 Graphic Equalizer:
it's a graphic equalizer, which are virtually extinct, and functons as expected. This product seems to have a bad reputation, and despite its cheesy, cheap appearance it has greatly enhanced my stereo sound.

Comments about AudioSource EQ 200 Graphic Equalizer:
It's hard to find equalizers on the market these days, for those of us who like to fine-tune our own audio instead of using factory pre-sets in TV's and stereos. This is a good equalizer that has all the functionality and flexibility we need.
