Although this is advertised as a reflector holder, it also claims to hold a small light head to an extension of 3'. I have trouble getting it to hold my sb-600 without bending. It works fine with the right counterweight but still flimsy.
Works fine for light reflectors.

Comments about Impact Telescopic Collapsible Reflector Holder:
This product is great for holding a reflector, the counterweight at the end is a pretty good balance for your average 43" reflector.
As for mounting a speedlight on the end of this thing no problem. I just took out the adapter spigot that comes with the boom mount and slid the 3/8" female end over the smooth metal attachment on the end of the boom. It was a perfect fit so I just used some high powered glue to hold it in place. The counterweight however is not heavy enought to counteract your average speedlight with the boom more than halfway extended.

I bought this mainly to be my "assistant" for reflector bounce/fill for portraits in indoor set-ups and occasional outdoor shots. Is very sturdy for the price and pretty simple to opporate. Haven't tried putting a speedlight on the end but seems like it could handle it.

I've been needing one of these for a long time. Great for one light setups.
Comments about Impact Telescopic Collapsible Reflector Holder:
Considering how inexpensive this is (comparably) it works nicely. It holds my 60" reflector securely, even at the top of the stand and angled. Didn't really notice any flimsiness to it. Haven't used it extensively yet, so we'll have to see.

Comments about Impact Telescopic Collapsible Reflector Holder:
The build quality of this reflector holder actually impressed me. I wish that the tension brackets were made of sturdier material (other than plastic), but so far, they've held up well with moderate use. The holder is completely adjustable - you can set your reflector to just about any angle you can think of.
For the price, I think this product is a no-brainer. It's already proved very useful on several shoots - and I've only had it for about 3 weeks. With moderate care, this reflector holder should last quite a while.

I have searched the Internet for this type of reliable reflector that will securely hold my 42" 5 in 1. This holder performs great outdoors. Others types don't hold reflectors securely in the breeze. It is well made & meets my high standards in equipment. I HAVE tried other brands and THIS is the one that is in my gear bag.

This is really great. I always needed an assistant if I wanted to use my reflector and sometimes you just don't have anybody to help. The telescopic reflector holder allows me to work by myself and have total control of what is happening with the light.

I didn't purchase this initially when buying the 5-in-1 reflector, but after a couple jobs I realized the value of owning it. It's perfect.

I have struggled for years with make-shift ways to "prop-up" various reflectors when I am in the field shooting alone, but since I got the Impact Reflector Holder it is a breeze!

Comments about Impact Telescopic Collapsible Reflector Holder:
This collapsible boom is solid and heavy. The clips are reliable. It will securely hold large reflectors. If you get a high-quality reflector set, this will also be heavy, so you must use the two on a robust light stand. No lightweight stand will hold up.

Comments about Impact Telescopic Collapsible Reflector Holder:
This reflector holder has been very useful. I like the counter weight which is just enough to keep things balanced on a stand. The holder also came with a brass insert that allows it to be connected to 1/4" or 3/8" and I was able to use my extra tripod as a stand which freed up one of my taller light stands at a shoot. Quick and easy to adjust to any angle needed.

Iv had this for a few weeks and so far it has work very well. Iv used it for fabric, wood panels, and round reflectors. The telescoping arm is great. It comes with a weight on the end to help balance what ever you clip on. You can remove the weight if you need to. The only negative thing Iv encountered is that the claps are pretty small. I wish they had more surface to hold objects.

Dependable piece of equipment. Great for holding smaller reflectors as well as foam-cor. I probably push its limits by having it help secure a 60" reflector horizontally placed below a portrait subject

Comments about Impact Telescopic Collapsible Reflector Holder:
I purchased this as a replacement to an older version. And it's still does a great job for what I use it for. The new feature of a counter weight is a terrific idea. And the added length gives me more choices of reflectors to use. The only minor downside I would say is the clamps which seems to have the same old rubber material. That's one of the reasons why I replaced the old one. After frequent use, mostly outdoors in the sun, it dries up and became brittle. So I would suspect this new one will suffer the same fate.

Comments about Impact Telescopic Collapsible Reflector Holder:
Fairly easy to use, holds my 43 inch reflectors but I really have to crank down the plastic wingnuts to get the thing to hold position. This makes me a bit nervous as it doesn't fell all that well made. I'm affraid I'm going to break it, The counter weight is nice.
