Comments about Lightware Long Lens Tube LT400:
I own a variety of lens cases for various purposes from Tenba, Lowepro and Lightware. The LT400 is by far the most protective case and the only one I consider using for air transport. It is super robust and I know the lens will arrive without any damage no matter how brutally it is handled along the way. It is made from first-rate materials and the strap D-rings and padded carry handle are well placed. This case is intended for transport of the lens only - not the lens with a body attached.
