This Pelican Gaffer Grip by Avenger gets its name from its profile and its ability to open wide and hold a lot. It works on pipe diameters of 0.59 -3.1 inches. It has a locking screw as well as 16 and 17 mm studs.

Swing Grip & Electric.
Bought the Gaffer Grip having never used it before. It is a solid build, Avenger of course, and feels pretty hefty in your hand.
This will grip anything. On your c-stand, on the ceiling, on the balcony in front of your subject.
Its as versatile as a cartellini but with so many more configurations. However, the grip isn't as long lasting and walk-away-from as a cartellini. I've twice now clamped the Gaffer Grip onto a ledge to plant a 2k on, and in double checking the strength of the bite, discovered the rubber inside of the clamp wasn't holding as strong.
