The Windtech MM-4 Mic-Muff is designed for use with the Azden SGM-1X, SGMx, SGM-1000, Rode NTG1, NTG2, VideoMic and other like-sized microphone windscreens. It provides up to 20dB of wind noise reduction in a 20 mph wind, and comes with 0.75-Inch fur.

In my humble opinion, this is one of the best investments a person can make for reducing wind noise. I've been using it on a Rode NTG-1 for one month in all kinds of difficult environments. Be advised, this is not a cure-all device but it appears to eliminate all wind noise from any direction when the winds are at or below 20 mph. Any winds above 20 mph will produce some noise but even then, it is significantly reduced. I've been able to record in 30+ mph winds with negliglebe breakdown by simply using this device in conjunction with using my body or cardboard to shield the mic. Furthermore, I have not been able to detect any audio loss with this device installed so it is truely transparent.
This is a must for anyone who wants to clean up their audio in windy situations.

Excellent purchase. It greatly reduces wind noise without losing any sound quality. It covers over the On/Off Switch making it kind of a pain is the ONLY drawback. Other than that I give it a 10/10.

Fits on my handheld sony mic's, and my H1 ( being creative) - Its cheep compared to other ones. But still a rip off, but you gotta have something to stip the wind - so here it is. Does the job just fine.

Was using the foam windscreen that came with the mic, this item is the best and cheapest investment you can make, i can shoot in windy areas without worry and would recommend this product to anyone amateur or professional you are not wasting your money!!

Great price for the windscreen. Performs 100% as advertised. Rated this 4 stars only because I had to cut the slit on the bottom of the screen a little longer to fit my Azden SMX-10 Shotgun microphone.
