Comments about Avenger F810 Baby Plate with 5/8" Swivel Spigot:

I bought two of these because I wanted to hang some speakers from the grid in my studio. They are plate mounted rock solid to the speaker, and the ball joint has held the speaker at the right angle with no trouble so far.

I use this for product photography when I want to float an object in the background. Just add an extension to this, attach the object on the front and voila! No edits needed. Holds securely at any angle, with a moderate amount of weight. Screw into studs!!!!

Comments about Avenger F810 Baby Plate with 5/8" Swivel Spigot:

I'm an indie filmmaker and continually strive to make professional but cheap custom equipment because most of the stuff out there is so over priced.

I got the Avenger wall plate to mount a fluorescent light to a light stand (similar to a Kino-Flo) and it works great.

So with the help of the Avenger plate, I have a fluorescent light that is just as good as a $1000 Kino-Flo (although not dimmable) for under $70!

The plate is extremely well built and I almost feel bad using it for such 'light' duty as holding up my light, but it was the best piece of gear for the job and I'm glad I got it.
