Panasonic LMAF120LU5 DVD-RAM 4.7GB Single-Sided Rewritable Disc (Pack of 5)
The Panasonic LMAF120LU5 DVD-RAM 4.7GB single-sided DVD-RAM discs are rewritable discs that can record up to six hours of video (depending on the format). These are non-cartridge style DVD-RAM discs that can be used with all DVD recorders compatible with the DVD-RAM format. The discs are packed in slim jewel cases.
- Rewritable DVD-RAM disc with 4.7GB of storage capacity
- Records 60 minutes of ultra-high-quality MPEG2 video, two hours of video in standard mode, or up to six hours at VHS quality
- Write speeds up to 2-3x
- Can be read, written, erased and rewritten again up to 100,000 times without any loss of quality
- Non-cartridge style DVD-RAM discs can be used with all DVD recorders compatible with the DVD-RAM format.

This product works great in my Panasonic recorder.
It offers you to record in high def. when you delete a recording you get all free memory back not so with DVD-RW. With DVD-RW, you have to delete all recorded programing in order to recover all your free memory. So far,this product is working flawlessly and I am satisfied with it. It is a great deal too.

I use DVD-RAM disks with a DVD recorder to record and view TV at my convenience, sort of a DVR without the subscription fees. I've used these Panasonic disks for a few weeks now, and they perfectly perform all the functions of the DVD-RAM format (e.g. playback while recordings are still in progress). The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is my DVD recorder takes an extra second or two to initially read a couple of the disks for some reason. But once they're mounted it's all good.

You get super-clear pictures at the 4 hour speed and can start watching a show while it is still recording another. These DVD-RAM discs can be erased and used over and over again. Better than VHS tapes with better picture, sound and indexing.
