Use for Birdwatching and look over the ocean for boots,ships and whales. Magnification comes handy , but sometimes hard to adjust and make the immage sharp again when going from 8X to 16X

I love this pentax zoom binocular, I was able to test this small very sturdy binocular outside bird watching! It's amazing how a small compact like this could punch a tremendous power.... it's very clear, zooms in & out without loosing focus. My wife likes it too... I am planning to buy another one soon. B&H offers excellent service & propmt delivery!

Work well for the symphony, haven't had a chance to try them outdoors. The adjustments are a little hard to get used to but work well to sync the eyepieces. Was able to zoom in on the musicians faces and instruments well. The brightness reduces as you zoom in but that's expected. The only improvement I can suggest is to add image stabilization.

I was looking for a rather inexpensive pair of binoculars so when I saw these along with the fact B&H was selling them ([$]) I smapped them up. The reason I mention B%H is I've bought from them before and they don't sell inferior stuff. The optics (glass) is very good and they are very comfortable to use. I haven't found anything I dislike them and for the price I can't see how anyone could complain.

This binocular is lightweight with great opics .. perfect for use when traveling, especially clipped to my belt. I use the 8x power when seaching, and increase to 16 for a close up view. Only small negative .. the strap. I have been ordering from B&H for over 20 years and always check them frist when looking for an item. They offer quality products.

I purchased these after I had to return another pair manufactured by Bushnell. These are in a whole different league than the Bushnell product. MUCH BETTER quality. These glasses are solid, easy to use, feel good in your hands, and easy on the eyes. I would absolutely recommend Pentax products after owning these.

I read lots of reviews from this and other sites, seems people liked them.. Now that I have had them a few weeks all I can say is they are PERFECT..
They are small and lite but made vary well made. They have a tripod mounting screw so they can be held steady at the full 16 power. I could read a lic. plate on a car over 2 blocks away...

I've had a chance to play with these glasses for a few sessions & find them to be an excellent product, especially considering the cost. I have a pair of vintage Tasco 10X50 glasses that are 3 times bigger, so I purchased these mainly for travelling. The size & ergonomics are first rate & the unit has a solid, quality feel to it. Images are crisp & clear & the zoom function is outstanding; however, after zooming, the focus needs to be tweaked. Overall, an excellent product from Pentax.

Image is sharp and vivid. I have looked thru lesser quality that made it appear as if you were looking through a fog. I think that indicates better quality glass. Tubes are parallel meaning there is no double vision. Focus and zoom alittle awkward to me. I see other compact binoculars in B&H that cost over $500.00 and wonder how much better they would have to be to warrent the cost. With these midprice binoculars you get alot of bang for your buck.
