Comments about Wesco Mega Mover Folding Handtruck:
I'm a homeowner who was looking for a decent, strong hand-truck that would be easy to use on stairs. Only problem was - I could not find any that felt right at my local hardware stores or big-box department stores. I then learned about the Magna Carts -- and people at work love them for casual moving, whereas, many online complain about broken wheels and plastic parts. Luckily, I stumbled on the Wesco Mega Mover and decided to try it -- even though the price is a bit higher than other options.
Wow! This thing is heavy, but feels very heavy-duty. The fold-down lift plate is tremendously strong. The inflatable wheels created a great experience when rolling across grass, gravel, and down stairs. I am very impressed, and a recent move of those heavy-duty chrome-wire storage shelves that are so popular allowed me to stack all 6 heavy shelves on the lift plate and move all at one time. Down two flights of stairs! I've never been able to do THAT before with any other hand truck.
What I did not like...
I had to remove the wheels to gain access to the fill valve to get air in the tires. You'll need a large Allen Key for this. And it is not a hand-pump operation -- the tires hold 56 PSI. So, hopefully, you have an electronic air pump or you'll need to run them by a local gas station.
Other than that one quibble, I have ZERO complaints. I love how I can store this in a closet, or fit it under my trucks rear seat. For lighter moving not requiring all-terrain features, get their Mini Mover. I bought that for my brother and it was a big hit at Christmas.

Comments about Wesco Mega Mover Folding Handtruck:
I've owned just about every folding handtruck made, this one is by far the best. It is heavier due to the large and very solid plate but it's well worth it - the pneumatic wheels are a huge plus also for me. Highly recommended.

Comments about Wesco Mega Mover Folding Handtruck:
This is the third folding handtruck I've owned and my guess is, it will be the last. Very heavy duty, and yes, I give these tools runs for their money, stacking many heavy cases and rolling them over rough terrain. While I have yet to use this in the field, the wheels and construction look up to the task. One thing to be aware of is that the uprights, crossbars, and platform are significantly larger than other folding handtrucks, so the caribiner I used to use to secure the bungee doesn't fit anywhere. Will have to come up with another solution. It's much heavier than previous, now-broken handtrucks. Worth every penny.
Comments about Wesco Mega Mover Folding Handtruck:
The heaviest duty collapsible 2-wheel dolly I've used, w/strength and weight comparable to most rigid models. Slightly larger tires are pneumatic and more easily pass over cracks in sidewalks and small potholes. Price 2-3X more than rigid is fair, considering it shrinks and folds and has decent sized base-plate.
