It's durable, water resistant, has handles, velcro, big zippers, and a pocket on the front. Only change I might make would be to line the top/bottom with a rigid material for protection purposes, but for the money this bag is a good value. I would be comfortable carrying the mixer in this, but not putting it in the back of a vehicle with other gear that could mash the mixer.

Comments about Mackie 1402 VLZ D Mixer Bag:
Great bag. The 1402VLZ3 fits snugly wit extra room for a couple of extra wires. I wish it had one more large pocket for additional wire storage. Other than that is works well.

Tough, waterproof, yet lightweight case for transporting a Mackie 1402. Not heavy duty protection for shipping, but excellent protection for moving the mixer around from location to location.

Comments about Mackie 1402 VLZ D Mixer Bag:
This bag fits very snug around the audio mixer. In fact, it's almost too tight, since it's hard to get it and zipped up....at least in the beginning. I'm expecting it will loosen up a bit with more use.
The bag is very light and well-padded...so it's perfect for taking out in the field. It's much easier to carry than our last hard case and yet it's solid with all that padding so it's well-protected. We are very satisfied. In fact, we are going to buy another one for our older mixer, which is the same dimensions.
And because it's so small and a tight fit, it saves room. Our old hard case was much larger and took up a lot of space in our truck.
No complaints. No regrets. This is a solid and light-weight bag custom fit for that mixer.

Fits my my Mackie 1402-VLZ3 Mixer perfectly. Nicely padded and front pockets for cords and maybe a mic or two. Only wish it had backstraps for those long rides on the train.

Comments about Mackie 1402 VLZ D Mixer Bag:
Fits the 1402, fairly rugged soft case. I wouldn't expect it to help much if dropped down a flight of stairs, but is lightweight and seems like it'll hold up to road travel with reasonable care.
