The Sky-Watcher 8x56 Binocular from Celestron is a sleek, superb quality binocular that rivals the very best models. They're typically judged as having exceptional performance for the price. The 8x56 model is great for big game or long distance birding in any light, and is also appropriate for astronomy use. They are nitrogen-purged waterproof and fogproof. Full size porro prism units will always have a place thanks to their great depth of field and three-dimensional views, and now you won't have to choose them with trepidation thanks to their waterproofing.
These Sky-Watchers have BAK4 prisms and are fully multicoated with twist-up eyecups for quick adjustment and optimum eye relief. They come with a protective rubber covering that offers a firm, slip less grip. The large center focus knob is a great convenience. A carrying case is included.

Comments about Celestron Sky-Watcher 8x56 Binocular:
Purchased these binoculars for a camping and trip and was not disappointed in any way. Daytime views were sharp with excellent contrast even on gray cloudy days. Night view of the stars were breathtaking as well. They are a bit heavy for long term use and will tire your arms a bit but then again I like a little heft in my optics - reminds me there's real glass there. [...] I would recommend these binoculars and will return for future purchases.

Comments about Celestron Sky-Watcher 8x56 Binocular:
These binoculars are fantastic! We enjoy being outside often so we've used them for wildlife viewing. Have tried using them for stargazing and although they are good for that, disappointed that they did not come with the tripod mount as advertised, hence the 3 stars.

Comments about Celestron Sky-Watcher 8x56 Binocular:
Best Value! The Celestron 8X56 Ultima DX Binoculars are the best piece of equipment an amateur astronomer can own. I've owned a few binos and must say these are my favorites. Light, sharp and bright. Daytime or nighttime, Take them everywhere, just the right size for observing and great for every day use too. Being waterproof and fog proof just adds more value!
