The CB Digital-T Flash Rotating Camera Bracket from Custom-Brackets is a simple and easy-to-use bracket that features a 180° pivoting flash arm that keeps the flash centered above the lens in both horizontal and vertical positions.
The CB Digital-T model is built from black anodized aluminum, with two 1/4"-20 posts to mount a camera and flash, as well as a 1/4"-20 thread to mount the entire system onto a tripod. Slightly taller than the "S" model, it will accommodate even larger SLR cameras that have an add-on power grip or booster. The camera can be mounted with the comfortable grip on either right or left side, and shoe mount flashes can be mounted with the optional FT-JR accessory. When a shoe mount flash is attached, either to the arm or the optional mount, you'll find two adjustable clips to keep the flash cord from rotating on the bracket.

Sturdy build - no plastic. The flip bar is spring loaded so it doesn't move. Easily flips when shooting vertically. The "upside down" screw you see in the picture is currently in its storage position using the only threaded hole on the flip bar. (You move this to one of the 3 holes at the end of the bar to mount your flash).was puzzling but once I received the bracket I saw that this specific hole was threaded to hold the screw while it was in storage. My biggest nit about this bracket is that the flash will not stay tight using only the supplied screw. You will need the anti twist plate accessory that goes on the flip bar. Also, this thing is most likely too bulky to store in a bag with your other gear. This isn't so bad as I was able to attach it to a flap outside my bag leaving more room inside.Only giving it 4 stars because of the loosening screw issue. They need to jack up the price of this thing [$] and just include the anti-twist plate. After this, it's a great bracket.

All build quality praises aside, this is an awful flash bracket. I wrote a review a few months ago giving it 4 stars, dismissing the issues with the bracket because of the wonderful quality.
The flash rotates freely on the bracket no matter how hard you tighten the screw. Additionally, I have to use a hardware store screw since the supplied screw is not long enough to extend past the Chimera Speedring. Cork was added to the bracket to relieve the issue, but it still happens on occasion.
The grip being on the right side of the camera, while simplifying the bracket's construction, ruins the experience of using it. You have to wedge your hand between the camera and the foam grip, and it seriously hinders work. If you mount the grip on the left side, the flash rotates to be on the underside of the camera. That's really only good for ghost-story lighting.
Those two issues were enough to make me throw the bracket away after a wedding two weeks ago. CB does make quality brackets, but this is not one of them. I have since moved up to the Pro-E bracket, which is considerably more expensive but suffers none of these pitfalls while maintaining the fantastic build quality CB is known for.
If anyone wants one for free, my old one is in a dump somewhere waiting to be found.

Comments about Custom Brackets CB Digital-T Flash Rotating Camera Bracket:
As a wedding photographer the last thing you want to have to adjust for is red eye. My new CB Digital T-Flash Rotating Bracket is perfect for getting my Speedlights off camera and on a plane that prevents red eye. The flexible arm is easy to change when wanting to move to portrait mode. The foam handle makes carrying my Nikon D3 easy and decreases the chance of my camera slipping out of my hand. I am glad to say that I own two of these brackets.

Comments about Custom Brackets CB Digital-T Flash Rotating Camera Bracket:
For the price you can't go wrong with this bracket! I needed a new bracket quickly for an event shoot as my older one had broken and this one shipped quickly and was exactly what I needed. My only recommendation is to spend the extra $$ and get the CB folding bracket. This one does not fold so it takes up a bit of space in my bag. If space is not a concern for you then you cannot go wrong, if you travel with your gear like me you will need to make sure you account for the fact that it does not fold. All in all I am extremely happy with this purchase and as always, B&H got it to me quickly with no problems.

Comments about Custom Brackets CB Digital-T Flash Rotating Camera Bracket:
I used the bracket for eight full hours in both the landscape and portrait positions while shooting a wedding. The biggest issue I had with it is with rotating the flash arm to the portrait position. It worked fine but I think it could have a more positive locking mechanism. I am really glad I bought this one over a cheaper model because even though I have never had or used the cheaper model, I feel this one would be far superior to the one I was looking at. This item is made from machined aluminum and is of a very high quality and works well for it's intended purpose. I don't feel like you will be disappointed with this bracket unless you are used to using a high dollar camera rotating bracket.

Bought flash bracket for use at a wedding gig. GREAT INVESTMENT!! Took over 1000 pictures, half in the darker dance environment with not one red eye. I've spent a lot of money on L-lenses, but red eye will always ruin a night shot. Comfortable to carry and very stable. Well worth the [$] invested.

Comments about Custom Brackets CB Digital-T Flash Rotating Camera Bracket:
This is a well made, rugged metal flash bracket. The bracket mounts both right and left on the camera and has several holes on the top of the bracket to help place the flash directly over the lens. The bottom of the bracket also has a sliding hold to help position the base on the bottom of the camera. The bottom also contains a standard tripod mounting hole.
I didn't order either anti twist plates for this flash bracket and honestly don't need them. The base has a cork bottom which has yet to twist out of alignment with my camera. The flash's hot shoe does twist but I was able to stop this with a $0.05 1/4" rubber o-ring from the hardware store. Place it between the hot shoe and the bracket and it creates enough resistance to prevent it from turning.

Comments about Custom Brackets CB Digital-T Flash Rotating Camera Bracket:
Overall, this product does what it says, however it only rotates one way making the camera awkward to hold in landscape profile. Otherwise, it is sturdy and holds the flash very well with little to no movement. Don't forget the anti-twist plate.
