I bought this to protect my MXL 770 and, of course stop the pops. I got an inexpensive boom from somewhere else and the mount on this pop filter worked just fine.

At first it seemed huge, but it is just perfect for my podcasting mic. The mount is very big and heavy. Thus, I assume it would travel well.

The product fell apart out of the box. I had to epoxy the mount that holds the loom on the gooseneck. The gooseneck is flexible, but not very strong. The screen is not held securely in the loom, occasionally falling out.

You don't expect good quality from a 10 dollar item, but I jerry rigged this thing onto my Blue Yeti USB and I have to say it works great. Looks official too!

I expected that a double layer (2 membranes)pop filter would mean great performance. Not so much. Still got some plosives in the recording. The clamp is not very secure or stable.By comparison, I have a metal pop filter that works perfectly. Bottom line: if you're broke, this pop filter is better than nothing. If you have a few bucks, buy a metal pop filter.

I use this product as a pop filter for one of my cheap mikes with an internal pop filter that doesn't work that well. It's great because it says what it does and that's what it should do. The filter in the case however was a bit loose when i took it out of its case.

Got this to use with my MML condensor mic. [...] Performs as advertised. Good value.

Comments about CAD Pop Filter and Gooseneck:

The product fell apart out of the box. I had to epoxy the mount that holds the loom on the gooseneck. The gooseneck is flexible, but not very strong. The screen is not held securely in the loom, occasionally falling out.
