The Califone PA-10 is a complete, cost effective wireless PA solution for schools, small presentations, tours, instruction and more. The system includes the PA-10 receiver/amplifier, belt pack transmitter and lavalier microphone. The PA-10 is light weight and features a handle for carrying while operating. A built in VHF receiver allows wireless operation with the belt-pack transmitter and lavalier microphone for up to 100'. The PA-10 is powered with an internal rechargeable battery or external AC power (AC adapter included). A mini microphone input jack on the rear allows use with external wired microphones. The transmitter is easily stored in a hidden compartment for easy carting and storage.

Love that this is totally wireless - battery held up for over three hours (connected an iPod to it and blasted music on a parade float recently). The storage compartment is great. The whole thing is light and compact (smaller than I expected). Good for small to medium sized rooms. The portability is so nice. Our other PA system involved separate, large speakers that go on tripods, a wireless base and tons of cords - this is such a nice change to have something so compact and portable that pretty much does the same thing.

The Califone wireless amplification system has excellent sound quality and the portability makes it very useful for secondary school classrooms -especially those with high volume of ambiant noise. Now students can address the entire class and be heard. Great for students reading aloud for the literature classroom.

We have a children's camp, and use the PA System for instructors to enhance their voices to be heard without fatiguing. So far it has worked exactly as needed. My only complaint is that the cord has to be plugged through the back opening, and although that seems convenient it's sort of a pain. We also really need a headset. The lavalier is not perfect for us, but we couldn't find a headset that would work with this particular plug-in.
