The OP/TECH USA Snoot Boot WB, Large (Black) is a lens pouch that is cylindrical just like a lens. It is designed to fit a wide body camera lens. The wide-mouth opening makes it easy to retrieve a lens while the drawstring closure secures it tightly with a spring lock. It can be attached to a belt or a D-ring of a photo vest so that it's always available.

I got this for my Nikon 24-70 f2.8. The case that came with it is great for carrying the lens by itself but it's rather bulky if you want to put it in a camera bag. The Nikon case is not collapsible so it's just as bulky when it's empty. This inexpensive case fits the 24-70mm perfectly and it's compact and secure enough to give my lens that extra protection while I'm carrying it around in my camera bag and it's collapsible when empty.
