This pedal works well with Casio keyboards in particular because other standard pedals (in piano pedal design) aren't generally compatible with Casio because the polarity is reversed (unless you have a standard pedal that has a switch on it to reverse polarity).
I prefer a standard pedal when seated, since I am also a pianist. However, since I'm using my Casio keyboard in a standing position, I actually found this pedal far superior to a regular pedal. Much easier to operate in this situation. Just be aware that it is lightweight and will scoot easilly on the floor, which might make it harder to find with your foot that a larger standard pedal. But the ease of operation greatly outweighs this slight risk. Highly recommended.

I use this on my Casio keyboard, which has several settings for different things the pedal can control. I use it to start and stop the built in accompaniment rhythms. It can slide around a little bit, but usually works great.

Cheap Sustain Pedal, Does it job, you have to press with little bit more pressure though. Not bad for its price.

Thought it could be used like a Piano pedal. No way - it doesn't really do anything (positive to the music that is)Total waste of money[...]
