Comments about Pelican 1560NF Case without Foam (Black):

I added my own pick and pluck foam to the case for use with a Sony PMW-100 XDCAM. Camera fits perfectly with plenty of cushioning and room for accessories, extra batteries and filters.

I cannot say anything negative about this Pelican case. It's the most durable case I could possibly ask for and it's warranted for the life of the case.

          Quality product

Comments about Pelican 1560NF Case without Foam (Black):

Pelican cases are top quality. The only gripes that I do have:
The lid clasps, I fly with my case a lot and as it comes down the luggage shoot I cross my fingers and hope that the lid stays closed.

also the flat plastic extension handle for the rollies feels a little 'wobely' with a fully loaded case.

Even with those things being said. In my opinion there really is no other product that compares with a pelican case.

Comments about Pelican 1560NF Case without Foam (Black):

A recent trip to the Arctic for work precipitated the purchase of a new suitcase. I've long been a fan of Pelican cases for shipping/carrying scientific instruments, so I decided buy one for myself as a suitcase. With the lid organizer, it's an excellent suitcase. I packed it full and it tipped the scale at just over 20 kg...but, not enough to incur excess charges.

I list the weight and cost as cons, but they're modest and totally worth it for the peace of mind and sturdy construction.

I am a fashion photographer bringing my camera to unique and interesting places. I needed to upgrade seeing that I've purchased larger, heavier glass and needed room now for lighting equipment cables. It was an upgrade from the 1550. I needed wheels so I could bring my camera case around. This is the perfect new edition to my aresonal of photographic equipment. With the backing of pelican it pays for itself! Highly recommend b&h as well as pelican products. I did purchase the padded divider sets which I recommend to save a little unless the pick out foam works for you.

I travel every week with tools. Obviously you can't take tools as a carry on, so I need something strong and secure to handle the TSA pounding it is destined to receive. This case Rocks and for such a great price. I am seriously thinking of buying the LOC variation as my luggage!

I bought this as a combination set with a Portabrace interior designed to work with this case specifically. All I can say is that this is my second Pelican case and I would buy them again in a heartbeat. This thing is made like a tank, yet, not so heavy that it isn't manageable.

I am using this case with an AF100 and 3 lenses, 2 batteries, readers, chargers, etc.
