The Lectrosonics M152/5P Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone is highly sensitive, and features a wide frequency response that accentuates the presence and character of the human voice. The M150's frequency response is measured at 20Hz to 20kHz with a slight rise around 10kHz, resulting in a brighter, more "airy" response. A low frequency dip around 50Hz reduces noise caused by proximity effect and ambience. The omni-directional polar pattern provides a generous response at the direct and off-axis sections of the microphone capsule. The M152/5P is compatible with any Lectrosonics beltpack with a TA5 connector.

Comments about Lectrosonics M152/5P - Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone:
Most of the folk I work with scoff at these "give-away" mics that come "free" when you buy a lectrosonics kit. I love them! Especially when talent walks away with them, steps on them, drops them in water...
They are by far the best "sonic" quality mic at a bargain price-also their flat head design makes them one of the most easy lav style mikes to hide.
I use them on reality tv shows and other situations where it is required to use "hidden" mics.
They are not as robust as a higher priced mics, and they don't have the same sonic quality as their big brothers- but in applications where they will be exposed to wear and tear- this is a great solution.

We needed to replace our mics after 5 years of hard use and went with the one's that survived that long to begin with.

Comments about Lectrosonics M152/5P - Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone:
I use this mic for wedding and event videos. The sound is incredibly clear and does not pick up a lot of extraneous noise, such as rubbing against clothing etc. Nice integrated clip and mic. No worries about the clip coming lose from the wire.

Comments about Lectrosonics M152/5P - Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone:
The M-152 mic really hangs in there and does a great job. Working in TV News reporters can really beat up on the mics but these guys keep working even with repeated abuse.
It is not the best mic on the market but for the money and the reliability, you can't beat it.
