B&H customer support helped with all my questions about this product when purchasing it. They also offered support on how to set up and use the strobe. The strobe was easy to use with my Canon 40D right out of the box so no phone call was necessary. Using the strobe and soft box help eliminate all the hard shadows when taken pictures of my pets. Now I can use my 430EX as a fill-in flash. Strobe performs exactly the way I was hoping, and I will be looking into remote fire capabilities in the future.

I've had this set for about two years, and it's gotten occasional use -- meaning I used it maybe once a month, and each use saw 200-400 firings.
The light stand included is pretty good, the softbox is OK (hard to set up, and I could never get mine to seem *perfectly* put together). The flash itself was pretty great, it gave off great light and was very reliable. Wish it had a way to turn off the slave, but overall I was pretty happy with it.
Then I was shooting a friend's maternity photos last weekend, and the flash committed suicide. The bulb didn't blow -- in fact, I still have the original bulb. But something internally popped, very loudly, and the unit visibly put off quite a bit of smoke. And now when I shake it there's stuff rattling around inside, no doubt the shreds of whatever exploded inside. I'll probably dissect it out of curiosity, and who knows, maybe it's fixable.

Comments about Impact One Monolight Kit (120VAC):
Just got two of these to try taking my photography to the next level. I have been using them with my Nikon D-7000, they have been super easy. I did end up getting a radio trigger to forego the cables and it was totally worth the added expense. It took about fifteen minutes to get them set up and only a half hour or so to start really getting the feel of how to use them well (with no training and this being my first attempt to use studio lighting). The only issue I've had was that one of the two lights was missing the soft-box mounting clips on the mounting ring(this is the only reason that I'm giving these four stars instead of five) - but B&H was great and contacted the manufacturer for me and the new clips are supposedly on their way to me.
I've been very VERY happy with the quality of shots I've been taking since getting these lights - I highly recommend trying them out if your are wanting to try studio lighting without a super high price tag!

Comments about Impact One Monolight Kit (120VAC):
I actually bought the "EX100 Ultimate Creative Portrait Kit (120VAC)" with Chroma Key kit. The monolights are very good and I would buy them again. The packaged photo key kit is more of a freebie gimmick. It's a light version of an outdated version (version 2). The company is currently selling version 5. And the light version is so crippled that it was useless to me.
As for the monolights I'm loving them although photo-trigger on the lights doesn't trigger if I have the master set to it's full low setting. A bit of aluminum foil to reflect the flash helps. They do trigger reliably at all mid to high settings. This is my first set of strobes and they were a breeze to set up and use. I find the 10' stands more usefull than I thought I would.

I have been using this light for a few weeks and I like it a lot. I now have a small studio and this light is perfect. The only thing I don't like is the soft-box. Even with help, I have been unable to set it up. I finally ordered an umbrella to use with the light. So far, so good.

Very happy with these strobes for in my in home studio. I do most of my photography work outdoors, but occasionally I have clients ask for more formal portraits, which I'm happy to oblige in my in home studio. I don't need anything super fancy, and thusly super expensive. I use the softbox on strobe, and an umbrella on the other and it gives me fantastic, even lighting!
These may not be perfect for a busy studio, but for me and the handful of studio shots I do a year they work great!

Comments about Impact One Monolight Kit (120VAC):
I submitted a review of the 400 W/s Impact lights and I have to say I'm in love with my 100 W/s too.It has some pros over the 400 W/s that I really like, mostly the VERY fast recycle time and the dial to adjust power (as opposed to the digital controls of the other lights).Of course, the power is low. Someone coming from a "Strobist" background would really appreciate this step up, but when shooting studio portraits at f/11 or higher, 100 W/s isn't good enough for anything but additional lighting; It can't be your key. For more artistic portraits, or for food photography, when your aperture is likely opened up, this light really shines. All in all, I love it. I love the ease of use, its durability and its portability. The ultra-fast recycle time is wonderful. Great light!
