The Gator Cases G-MIX 17x18 ATA Hard Transit Case (Black) is made primarily to transport audio mixers; however it will also hold specific audio recording stations, DJ CD players and projectors. It is made from nearly indestructible lightweight polyethylene plastic. It uses an angled pad and touch fastener wedge to hold the equipment securely. It has a tricot lined foam interior, completely removable lids with breakaway hinges and rubber feet.

Cases are over priced for the job it is suppose to do. This is my first Gator Case and I am so happy with it. SKB tends to be a bit expensive. This is a great alternative.

This case was perfect for my Behringer X1222 Mixer.I wanted a case that was a hard case with enough room for a mixer, but light and small for tranport. I work alone most days and i need good cases that are tough and easy to carry.

Nice, lightweight mixer case (less than 11 lbs.) HIGHLY recommended, as it can be used for carrying different types of equipment. Has a removable foam slanted prop that angles your mixer for proper viewing while it is in the base of the case. I did need to add a little of my own foam on the inside of top case to keep my Carvin C844 mixer nice and snug, but that's because the case wasn't made specifically with my model in mind. I also use this case to carry my large laptop PC (17" screen) and ALL accessories. Again, you will need to add extra foam to take up the slack, but it is the only hard-shell case with a REMOVABLE top lid I know of that can hold a large laptop PC comfortably.
