Using this filter on the 14-140mm lens on my Lumix GF1. I had just a little trouble threading the filter onto the lens at first, but this could have just been bad luck. Other than that, it works beautifully and I can't tell any difference between having the filter on vs off, which is good because this is just a protective filter.

I've bought Hoya 62mm Protector Pro1 Digital DMC/LPF for my Sony 16-105 because the previous filter was giving significant vignetting at 16mm f:8.
Pros: this Hoya has an almost colorless pale coating that can be easily cleaned from fingertips with a microfiber cloth. There is knurling on frame sides.
Cons: I measured frame height not including lens thread and it is 4.5mm when my previous "non-thin" filter was 5mm. I don't understand how the height 3mm from the specs was measured. The vignetting at 16mm f:8 is significantly less than with the previous filter but still is not absent as without any filter at all.

Crystal-clear filter by Hoya. I bought it to replace another (cheaper) protective filter I had mounted on my Olympus 18-180 lens. The difference was readily noticeable under several lighting conditions. Lessons learnt - don't use cheap filters on my lenses!

These have saved my front element on more than one occasion, a lot cheaper to replace than the lens. I do not notice any reduction in image quality.
