Comments about Westone ER-15 - Clear 15dB Filters for ES49 Musicians Earplugs - Pair:

In the line of filters 9, 15 and 25, many persons, especially musicians, have difficulty choosing the correct filter for their situation. Drummers tend to like 25s. Singer tend to like 9s because they can hear more, but it is not always the best for good ear protection in a loud environment. I have found the 15s to work well and be a good compromise. Good for the club, and not a crazy loud live music event. Hope that was of help to you.

Comments about Westone ER-15 - Clear 15dB Filters for ES49 Musicians Earplugs - Pair:

These filters work perfectly for any type of Band rehearsal or concert. The drop in decibel feels completely natural and the EQ is near perfect. As shown in the graph the highs are dropped just a little and you can tell that there is a slightly more basey feel. But it's really nominal. I wouldn't use these live if you sing. They muddle up your own vocals considerabley. I don't use them live cause you can still tell the difference in sound but I'm pretty picky. If you want to save your ears use these when you practice .
