Comments about Interfit Fluorescent Flood Light, Bulbs, Light Stand:

I've had the light for a few weeks now, and it has worked great. It is really sturdy, bright, and the diffusing cover it comes with is really great. The bulb doesn't get too hot which is great as well.

It's true that if you're not careful the light could come down pretty fast when you're adjusting it, but I haven't had a problem with that.

There's really nothing bad about it for me. Wish I had another one!

Light, compact, and seems very functional. My first one and I think I made a good purchase. Replacement bulbs are not very cheap.

Great all around light and stand

        By Jay

        from Orlando, FL

Comments about Interfit Fluorescent Flood Light, Bulbs, Light Stand:

The 3 light set up gives adequate fill or modeling light. Not a lot of heat generated from the florescent bulbs compared to traditional hot lights.

        Expertise: Semi-Pro

Problems Encountered: In this new era of spiral fluorescent bulbs (3 are included with the package) they are longer and as a group, wider overall than the traditional set up. This means you cant remove the dome without first removing the bulbs. The on/off switch is on the cord not at the base of the unit. This can be a pain when you have to bend down to the ground to use or a plus when the light is up high and you dont have to lower it down. The included light stand is decent and works fine. I would recommend getting this package without the included light stand and upgrading your light stand. I ended up moving the light onto an Impact Compact Air Cushioned Light Stand. The base was just a little bit wider and the air cushion is a nice feature. The included stand is not air cushioned so if you arent watching; it can come down in a hurry. When you do the math, you are paying about $11 more to ala carte to a better stand above. Also, when you get to the extreme heights of the 8 stand, you may want to weight the base of the stand slightly. I have not had any problems with it falling but it just made me a little nervous. Common sense prevails.

Items I Recommend: Impact Compact Air Cushioned Light Stand 8'
