I use this as the instrument cable for my bass guitar and it really lets the natural tone of my bass shine through. The signal comes out very clear and without any buzz or hum of any kind. The cable itself is very sturdy as well. Only possible gripe on my part about this is that the metal connector on the gold plug tends to twist loose by itself once in a while but it's no big deal. The cable itself is amazing. And the lifetime warranty is a sweet deal as well!
