I purchased this product for my NEW Canon 50D DSLR and the standard lens. It is a simple and inexpensive addition to my standard lens I use the most with the camera. It helps reduce the haze and clears the UV element into the camera during picture taking. It also keeps the glass on my lens clean and protects the expensive lens from any dirt, or dirty elements of the air. The filter is easy to remove, clean and replace. I keep this UV filteron my camera all the time. I do not see any difference in the pictures I take. All pictures turn out great with no effect from the filter. I would recommend this to anyone that has an expensive lens and quality photo equipment. It is a lot easier to clean and replace an inexpensive broken filter then it is to replace a lens costing over several hundred dollars.

Does a fine job of protecting the expensive front glass on my Canon 70-200 F4 IS L Lens. A lot less expensive than the same glass from B+W and just as effective.

Comments about Canon 67mm Ultraviolet (UV) Glass Filter:
Works very well, inexpensive. On the canon 70-200F4L lens , I put a HIGH DOLLAR UV filter on it to try, and there really is no difference to this canon UV filter.( Shot on tripod at same time) We all know, you are going to have one, why by that 100 buck one, when this works fine...
Comments about Canon 67mm Ultraviolet (UV) Glass Filter:
Works just fine. The only complaint is that once you have the filer on, the cover does not snap on that easily (both are Canon products). This is a minor issue though.

Purchased this filter after comparing it to other, much more expensive units. My experience with it on my Canon T3i has indicated that it is a perfectly acceptable alternative to the higher priced models.

Great Value at its price point. Doesnt affect image quality from what i've seen.
The only con is you'll wonder in your mind if a More expensive Hoya or B&W would affect image quality even less
