I highly recommend these. Nearly every serious sound company uses them, and they are nearly indestructable. These clips will hold vocal mics and some thin condensers very securely. You can usually fit a fairly wide variety of mics in these clips, avoiding having to find and change out a specialized clip for some thinner mics, which wastes time at festivals and fast paced set changes. These clips do not hold wireless mics, and may not hold VERY small mics. They also hold standard vocal mics VERY tightly, making them a less than ideal choice if you are removing the mic from the stand a lot.

This means because of the material it's made of, it takes more abuse than the other types of clips/adapters. Yes, you pay a little more per unit for these clips but because they last longer, you end up saving more money and are less agravated because the clip isn't broken and you can do your gig without any trouble.
