I use this to charge the batteries on my Canon DSLR. It's small lightweight and rugged enough to go on a trip to the swamp and make it back in one piece and still function. It will stay plugged in even upside down and works in the worst of wall sockets. I've taken it everywhere and have never had a problem.It's very easy to use and the folding plug makes life a lot easier. The changing LED light is easy to read and charges don't take very long as compared with other units and last quite a long time. Just make sure to purchase a battery charger that's specific to your camera's batteries as you may fry them if you don'tThe only improvements I could suggest are the ability to charge multiple batteries at once and some manner of incorporating a car charger but over all it's a great product and it's name brand equipment at a great price [...]

It does not charge as fast as I have thought. It takes about 2:30 hours to recharge a BP-2L13 (1.200mAh) and a 4:30 hours to recharge a IMNB2L22 (2.400mAh). ...Read complete review
It does not charge as fast as I have thought. It takes about 2:30 hours to recharge a BP-2L13 (1.200mAh) and a 4:30 hours to recharge a IMNB2L22 (2.400mAh). This battery charge delivers 0.55A, so it is compatible with the recharging time. Considering that the other options deliver 0.60A and they are not so portable with this one, I think that it is still the best choice.

Needed a replacement battery charger after misplacing my original. could only find the right one online with B&H Photo. could NOT find one with any store in Minneapolis. Love the charger. No issues. This is for my first DSLR, which I keep for the sole purpose of when a family member or friend needs a camera for travel, special occasion, or just to promote photography and let someone use it. Bought this to replace the original, which was lost while on loan.
Checked out the others, which seemed to be good quality, offered a couple extra features and cheaper in price, but………….. I like original brand name equipment. I was very satisfied with the original charger and am receiving the same satisfaction with this product.
