- This feature of the Gold Mount is standard with most new camcorders. A special power circuit in the Gold Mount mates with the VTR roll signal in the camera/camcorder allowing an Ultralight-2 to turn on/off automatically in sync with the recorder.
- InterActive Viewfinder
- The Gold Mount includes a special InterActive contact that transmits the fuel computer signal from a DIGITAL battery to the viewfinder "Fuel Gauge" included in many cameras/camcorders.

This is a great addition to my camera. Before I was just using the stock battery that came with the camera. They weren't too bad and would last about three hours each. Now with the goldplate mount, I can use any Anton Bauer battery. It helps to balance the camera and gives me extra battery life. It's a great addition!

I recently acquired another JVC GY-HD100 and needed to integrate it into my A/B battery system. This is my third adapter and only had a problem with the first one (early serial number) that died for no apparent reason. All in all, it works well, adds a full professional array of usefulness to my investment. Half of my A/B batts are nearly 8 years old and still work well with the new cameras with this adapter. It includes mounting screws and a Powertap receptacle which I have found many uses for including powering the on camera 7" monitor I use for "studio" setups. I will probable get another as a backup just incase.
