Although it's a discontinued model, it's exceptional and safe to say that It's worth buying this power supply as long as you take care of your original mixer.The only downside to this power supply is the end connection that goes into the mixer.The small part with the 3/4 female insert (which goes into the mixer). Be careful when wrapping this cord. Over time, the wires will fray from constant bending.It took me 8 years to finally realize that this cord was on it's way to the electronic repair store.Tried to have it restore. It was a no-brainer!The repair person said... "FORGET IT!"Power cords like this are too hard to repair and find. It's specially made for Phanthom Power.That's why it's a discontinued Model.PLEASE! Do Not Bend The End That Plugs Into The Mixer. Set up that connection end to face downward, not outward! (This is where the bending occurs.) Otherwise you'll end up trying to find another one on-line.The reason why I bought one was due to the PA Set Up the music group supplied. There was not enough mic lines in their mixer board, so I bought my own PA System.Spirit Folio F1 did the magic for my drum set.When the kit was set up with the PA System, immediately, the bass and guitar player wanted to go through my system.When I said "NO!" they got mad at me for protecting my sound from being railroaded.Don't let anyone else wrap your power supply.Do it yourself because... Once the wires start to fray, they will eventually become completely frayed and you'll be out of luck.Unless you're a electronic technician, you can set it up to be wired directly into the mixer end (the plug in area).You might end up buying another mixer with a different source of power supply cord.If you want this cord to last, don't bend the 3/4 prong. That is all!

If your board is randomly cutting out or sending people hiding under the seats when the speakers burp, its your power supply transformer....you can either keep bashing the block or buy this perfect replacement. After months of dealing with aggravated musicians and patrons, the minute I replaced it with this unit my system purred like a kitten and actually made less hiss. Cool! Thanks!
