Comments about On-Stage MSA7040B - Boom Arm:
This works well with the On-Stage KSA7575 attachment. I also add a gooseneck to this to lengthen. Sturdy.

Comments about On-Stage MSA7040B - Boom Arm:
The MSA4040B provides good value for light-duty such as supporting a desktop mic in a home recording studio, but it's probably not up to the rigors of a touring band, mobile DJ or anywhere that it's going to be banged around a lot. The plastic adjustment knob that clamps the fore-and-aft movement of the boom wouldn't last long in the hands of a typical roadie and the up-and-down adjustment is rubbery and imprecise, making critical adjustments difficult.
Given it's remarkably low cost, however, it does deliver the goods for anyone who's going to set it up and leave it in place or is at least willing to use reasonable care when making adjustments.
