Comments about Sound Devices CS-MAN Utility Case:

This case works well for holding my SD 633 portable mixer and a few cables. It is not designed to be road-rugged protection or to accomodate a lot more accessories than cables ( you could put the power adapter in with it but the sleeve that creates two compartments inside would not protect items from banging into one another ). For the cost, it fits my needs.

The CS-MAN does it's job, does it well

      Pros

      • Manufactured tough enough

      Cons

      • No zipper compartments

      Best Uses

      • Store any SD product

Comments about Sound Devices CS-MAN Utility Case:

I use this product to store my Sound Devices USBPre 2. The CS-MAN has a divider through the center of the case with a holster type divider in the side for cable(s). The only feature, IMO, that the CS-MAN is missing is zipper compartments on the interior and/or exterior for extra storage. Thus the 4 out of 5 star rating. All-in-all, the CS-MAN is not to big or small to store any SD product and is manufactured tough enough for any ruggedly built SD product as well.
