Comments about Paramount Nikon PC Screw-Lock to Household #5-6C - Coiled:

A pc-sync was needed to go from a Nikon body or flash with a screw-lock pc terminal to a miniphono plug for a pocket wizard. Snipped off the household end and replaced it with a miniphono plug and saved money too! Paramount charges too much for the miniphono cable.

Finaly one that does not fall out all the time. Fits my old Nikons as well as new ones.

Comments about Paramount Nikon PC Screw-Lock to Household #5-6C - Coiled:

I created an unusual use for this cable for which it was not intended.

I use this item to secure my USB cable on my Canon 5D Mark II while doing a tethered shoot. I use only the screw lock end - I cut off and discarded the other end. Since it provides a stable anchor (via the screw lock), with a simple cable tie, the USB cable on the 5D securely stays in the 5D. In this way, the USB cable cannot come loose from the camera, preventing a potentially harmful situation for the camera.
