I read reviews on some similar adapters that the plastic parts would break. I can see why that could be an issue, the part that goes into the hot shoe has to be small. This adapter feels very solid and I don't anticipate having any problems.

the wheels are smaller than what I bought years ago. If you can find the larger wheels, get them if they still make 'em. Five stars because these work perfectly.

Both plastic turn wheels are smaller than the ones I bought a couple years ago. Because of my big hands, the larger wheels are sooooo much easier to get a grip on. Now, I'm not sure if Rycote still has the other available but find out because it will be much easier to get your swollen sweaty stubby fingers in there to release and most importantly, tighten as well.

I bought it for my Zoom H4n...but it was a mistake...It is not the right adaptator to connect directly your zoom to your camera...Except that the product is made following a good quality.
