Comments about Rycote Extension Handle with Foam Hand Grip:
I wanted to add a mic handle to my backpack video kit, and this is a decent product for that purpose. I was quite surprised by how short it is so for ENG use, you might consider something longer like the K-Tek products. Consider this a minimalist product. This handle has a 3/8" female thread in the bottom which is essential if you want to add the mic and handle to a boom pole.

Comments about Rycote Extension Handle with Foam Hand Grip:
I use this handle for my Sony PCM M10 with a suspension. It attaches easily and is a good solution for eliminating handling noise with portable recorders.
I recently took this rig on a hiking trip and got some great source. It is small enough that I could stow the whole package in a fanny pack without breaking it down in between recordings. It is comfortable and the foam is easy to maintain a grip if you're being active.

Comments about Rycote Extension Handle with Foam Hand Grip:
I have used this with a shotgun mic and shock mount. Really helps hold the mic steady while in those awkward and tight positions to get some sound on set. Has an additional bit to screw the handle into something else. Not sure how I can use that but none the less interesting to have.

Comments about Rycote Extension Handle with Foam Hand Grip:
I have a boom pole and use the mic most of the time on boom but every often I need my sound man hold it for me, great cheap option.
