The On-Stage MSB6500 Mic Stand Bag is a heavy-duty nylon bag that fits either 3 round base or 3 hex base or a combination of both microphone stands including shafts and booms. It comes with a heavy gauge 2 pull zipper, so the bag can be unzipped length-wise from the center. Two hand straps ensure a well-balanced load and the deluxe corded piping gives the bag its rigid shape.

I haven't found anything else quite like this and was pleasantly surprised at how robustly it is made. It holds 3 round or hex bases in separate velocro'd pockets on one side (I use one of the pockets for extra cables), and there are 3 sleeves for stand poles. Admittedly, the sleeves are too narrow for anything with an attachment, but I cut it with a razor about 2/3 from the end, and it fits my boom pipe fine now.The price was outstanding for what it is [...]. Nivce, heavy handles, no outside pocket (that's o.k., though), and it'd be cool if they upgraded this product to accept more than 3 pipes in the sleeves (which helps protect them from scratching; otherwise, you can just chuck 'em all in there - it'll hold it no problem. Zipper seems strong. Good way to get stuff organized.

The bag is sturdy enough in its construction and zipper. But what lets it down is a lack of anything inside to help organize the contents. I had hoped there would be internal starps at a minium, or better yet, pockets in which to put the stands. But its an empty bag, so the stands just bang against eachother, and are not well protected.

Comments about On-Stage MSB6500 Mic Stand Bag:
Well made and heavy duty for the money. I am using this MSB6500 bag by On-Stage for multiple Manfrotto 1052BAC light stands,a shorter Matthews stand, 5 different umbrellas, Lastolite 2435 light pole, Manfrotto 055MF4 tripod and such in the main compartment of which some of the smaller umbrellas slide into the looped sleeves. Then in one of the three 11"x8" zippered pockets goes a 32" five sided collapsable reflector. Next pocket contains the 4 Manfrotto 026 swivel umbrella adapters with mini ballheads and cold shoes attached still with room to spare. The last of the three pockets I store numerous 1/4" and 3/8" male to female, spigots, a 014-14 Rapid Adapter, one 208HEX Head Mounting Plate, a Super Clamp, a 4" role of gaff, a DIY 'Justin' type clamp and such...Yes, with all that equipment most lighting jobs are tackled. The bag starts to put on weight but still has room to spare. Needless to say I am very happy with this product from On-Stage.

Comments about On-Stage MSB6500 Mic Stand Bag:
I used this for Ultimate Support MC05 microphone stands. Inside the bag there are three material slots for the shafts. The diameter was just barely big enough to fit the clutch of the MC05. There are three zipper pouches for the round bases. They are big enough to fit most stand bases, except maybe hex stands.
Overall the quality looks pretty good. I dont know if the straps go around the bottom or not.

There was one reviewer who said there were no pockets or straps. They must have purchased a different bag. This bag comes with pockets for the bases and three long pockets to hold the poles. Keeps everything organized and protected.

I wanted to use it for a stand from the same company. the bag is way too big for the stand, and not long enough to hold it. The bag itself is heavier than the stand. Still, it came on time.
