Comments about Nikon SW-11 Extreme Close-Up Positioning Adapter:

Accessory diffusor for Nikon SB-R200. It helps soften the light a bit and takes the edge off of shadows. Especially handy for closer shots. Note that it does reduce the reach of the flash, but that should be ok given its main use for close work. This really should be an included item with the SB-R200, but note that it is not.

Comments about Nikon SW-11 Extreme Close-Up Positioning Adapter:

I use these doing macro flash work, often of dragonflies in wetlands. They do a good job of giving an evan lighting. The down side is that they are easy to lose when traipsing through rougher habitats like cattails.

Comments about Nikon SW-11 Extreme Close-Up Positioning Adapter:

Works well with the Nikon SB-R200 for extremely closeup shots. It reduces the harshness of the light and produces a more pleasing effect. It's rather expensive for a piece of plastic though.
