When you consider that a camera outfit may cost upwards for $6000 or more, $15 for foam to custom-protect it in a way that no other product can, it seems like an absurd bargain.
Yes, Pelican cases are expensive and heavy. And they also protect things better than any other case on earth, short of those things they transport nuclear material in.
