I purchased this mouse to accompany my notebook for my upcoming 3+month backpacking trip. I have only had this item for a couple of weeks however my initial comment would be this mouse is very small and perfect in situations when you want to keep space and weight down to a minimum such as travel. However I would not recommend this item for everyday office or home use unless you really need a small mouse as it's far more comfortable using one of a "normal" size.
Having said that it doesn't mean the mouse is not comfortable just that a larger mouse does a far better job in the ergonomics department. In fact the mouse is responsive and tracks accurately and only requires small movements of the hand to guide your pointer. I have medium sized hands (male) and found the mouse quite livable for occasional use, don't expect the comfort level of a larger mouse.
The mouse comes with a small pouch (which could use a better fastening/closure mechanism) and for occasions where you need the extra length it also comes with an extend-able USB cable that connects to the retractable cable. It is plug and play no drivers or program installation required. It has two buttons, a scroll wheel and a retractable cable that works well enough. I have not yet tested this item on all surfaces.

I purchased a Iogear USB Optical Mini Mouse (GME222A) to use with my 2006 MacBook. It works fine except that it will not allow my MacBook to put its hard drive to sleep after I close the lid. Normally when you close the lid, the MacBook shuts down the hard drive and goes to sleep. With the mouse connected, the Macbook attempts to shut down the drive, but the mouse lights up and the drive starts up again, The Macbook then will try again to shut down the drive, and again the mouse will light up and stop the drive's shut down. This goes on-and-on-and-on in an endless cycle prematurely burning up the battery charge and placing a lot of wear and tear on the hard drive.
Same thing happens with my wife's 2010 MacBook Pro.

I read reviews both good and bad about this mouse before I ordered it. The bad things like, "it's too small to fit my hand" are, in my opinion, completely unfounded. It's the same as a larger mouse except that the sides are cut off. It works great, takes up very little space in my laptop carry case and the retractable cord is a major plus! I give it an A+++!

May not be the mouse for gamers, but for basic function it works fine. Can't complain with the price level.
Small enough too to just toss in the laptop bag. It comes with a handy cloth bag to hold it.
The retractable cable helps to keep the mouse neat when not it use. And you do not need batteries!!

I use it at my office with my laptop. The extensible chord is very useful as you can choose different sizes not only full or not. The resolution is very high so you don't need much space for work with it. The only point that is not so good (for me) is the size, is a bit too small, but I have a very big hand so probably other people wouldn't have the same problem.

I bought this product because I was having wrist pain from my other average size mice. It helped s lot! It is small decreasing the angle on the wrist to a more normal posture, yet smooth and easy to use with minimal wrist movement. Pin point accuracy. Works excellent. It is easy for me to use right or left handed. It is cute. Try it, you'll like it. Take a scroll with it.

Has a small size so it is impirtant to know this depending on what you plan to use it for. The retractable cable is a bit finnicky but the mouse feels well built.
