The 4.7 GB DVD-R (50 Discs) from Sony can be used to record and archive home movies, photos, and data. You could store these for years and not see any sign of deterioration as compared to other brands I've used. They simply work great!

I use these blank DVD to simultaneously record/back-up video I shoot on Mini DV. I work in the legal field so having stable media to record onto is critical. Currently I'm transferring our treasured family video tapes onto DVDs and the Sony discs have given excellent clarity, color and fidelity. These discs are highly compatible, have good capacity and have proven reliabile in my equipment.
