Comments about Tram Tie Bar Alligator Clip (Tan):

We use this to attach our lav to subjects during interviews for doc style shooting. It nice to have a few colors to choose from, but the mic and cable are black, so its only so helpful to have different colored clips.
I've found that the tie bar works better than any of the methods that hide the mic in peoples clothes. There is always some clothes rustle and muffled sound when the mic is buried. Let the audience see it, they are obviously on camera, why shouldn't they be mic'd.
The only con is that the mic often pops out of the clip while attaching it to the person, but its usually fine once its on.
