The Paramount Male Household (2 prong) to Male Miniphone 3' straight sync cord is used to trigger a Pocket Wizard Radio Slave Receiver or Transceiver connected to a flash, or power pack that has a female household trigger socket (Lumedyne, Norman, Novatron, older Speedotron, for example).

Comments about Paramount Male HH to Male Mini Sync Cord - 3' Straight:
This product is used to sync a wireless receiver and transmitter with studio lighting. You simply plug the sync cord into the place in the power pack where the sync cord would normally go. This allows you to use your transmitter and your receiver to fire your studio flash without the use of a sync cord. This works beautifully, and it allows you freedom of motion when taking photographs with your studio lighting setup.

Comments about Paramount Male HH to Male Mini Sync Cord - 3' Straight:
Having purchased the 3'Paramount Household to Miniphone male sync cord I quickly learned size does matter. Several of my fellow photogrpahers have purchased other branded shorter cords then the 3' Paramount and have witnessed the lack of versatility that comes with using the shorter cord. With the 3' Paramount I have the versatility and flexibility to locate, move and manipulate my wireless transmitters to any location I wish allowing for the attachment and use of many other attachements. The other major benifit of the paramount cord is the Miniphone male connector is far superior then the other brands which are loose and have poor connectivity. The only drawback of the 3' paramount sync cord is the lack of a velcro strip to securly roll the cord for storage but that is something that is simply overcome with the endless supply of velcro at your local stores.

Some people have given up on pack/head systems but it's nice to have 1 Pocket Wizard fire 4-6 lights.
