This product is hub printable. This means that you can print just about to the center hole. (The hole itself is 1/2 + 1/8. In other words 9/16. The 'hub printable' area will be 3/4 + 1/2 of a 1/4; in other words 7/8. The opening on a non-hub printable disc is basically a full 1 1/2.if you do a search such as 'cd r' you will see some products which look very similar, except that one is hub printable and one is not.The hub printable may nicer; especially if you want to print a full color background (which can cost basically as much as printing a 4x6 photo - which is probably about 25 cents a piece - for full color background). Also, of course, it gives more room to print words, if one has a lot to write.In the disc printing program of the printer that can print directly onto discs, there will be a setting for hub printable. But it may go by a measurement. So the following measurement worked good for me on an Epson Rx580, [which prints directly onto the discs]: Inner Diameter - 25mm; outer diameter - 116mm. I suppose it would be basically the same for other printers. Once again, these settings were for hub printable; for the non hub printable discs, the inner is 43mm (it is a standard size). Then there is also 'Digital Vinyl' which are discs that are meant to look like records / LPsThey have lines going around and a printable area in the center just like LPs and is a CD on the reverse. the size that worked good for me; at least the Verbatims that I bought, is inner - 25; outer - 70.I'll put a link for disc printable printers in the 'recommended items' below. I hope this should be helpful.Also p.s. I don't know why, but this specific pack of discs doesn't say 'inkjet' in the product description, only in the features tab on the product page. But there it clearly says that it is for ink jet, so I suppose it was left out. But there are other types like thermal, that is a different type of printer.

Yes! I will admit that I'm one of the few photographers that still enjoys handing a beautifully crafted proof CD to a client. Having admitted my hesitance to keep up with technology, I am still impressed with the quality of these CDs. No errors! No waste! No problem! And for the price, there's no desire to change my current practice until my clients no longer have access to optical drives.

The CD 's printed very well, clear and sharp images and lettering. At this point I'm very pleased with the product. Delivery came one day early. I've used 10 out of the 100 so far with no problems!

I print to these on an Epson Artisan 50 inkjet. The image is crisp and clear. What else is there to say? Oh yeah, have had no rejects when burning CD nor when printing image.

I am converting vinyl to cd, using original album art. The smaller hole makes putting album art on the disc. Have not had any recording problems either. I would recommend them to anyone.
