Most camera straps are held in place using straps that are not easily removed and replaced. I find it necessary on occasion (like when kayaking) to be able to remove the strap and use binocular straps that more firmly hold the camera high up on the front of my chest. These strap options allow you to quickly remove one strap with swivels and put on another strap giving you freedom of choice in just a matter of minutes!

Got these to use with the Op/Tech swivel hooks, and although they connect okay.. it's not as quick and hassle free to swap the swivel hooks over to another system connecter as I'd like (generally need two hands, a little fiddly). So, didn't really meet my purpose as a quick changeover system.
Could be a good solution for other purposes.

I bought three Bolt Battery packs for my speedlites. I purchased these system connectors to thread through the side of the battery pack so I can now easily attach the battery pack to my light stand via a caribiner on the light stand. Very sturdy and compact.

Depending on what you do with your camera you may want to use a strap over your shoulder (e.g. when walking outside) or the standard strap (e.g. when using with a flash). You may also want to keep the tripod plate connected and that might conflict with the screw for your shoulder strap.
With the system connectors it's easy to connect the regualr strap as I just always leave the System Connectors on the camera. You just need to connect the strap with a small caribiner hook or something similar. You can een connect a shoulder strap to the System Connector as they are very tough and won't easily break.

We use the connectors in combination with the utility loops to quickly attach and detach a shoulder strap when using a Nokia handsling to hold the camera to be shooting ready. It was a little fiddly and took a little customization, but now we have a sweet and highly flexible setup. Only criticism is given the hooks and loops come from the same line of products the fit is a little to snug.
But overall great products I happily entrust my camera to.

I have an Optec Camera Strap that uses connectors to attach to the camera body. These straps are almost identical and allow me to use the strap on more than one body.

I bought these so I could make switching out my camera straps easy. They do the trick and they support the weight of my camera and lens. I use straps with clips on them. These items work great for what I want. They were a little difficult to attach, so on that I give it a 4.5 stars.

I had no idea these even existed, i was going to even make my own,
when i found them the price was unbeatable and i ordered them right way.
Shipping was fast and they are much better than i expected.
they were a bit tricky to get in my camera strap loops, but they only have to go in once, they are a very snug fit.
they look metal in the picture here, but they are actually plastic very solid plastic, i was afraid the metal would bang up my camera body, but they do not actually move around to much when the strap is off.
this item is fantastic and great for the price.

I use swivel hooks for all of my camera straps and have found these to be wonderful. Unlike metal loops, they do not damage the camera body. They go on quick and do not get in the way. For the price they are a great tool.

Do what thet are designed too, are constructed very strongly and apear should hold up in the long run. I now can swap out 2 different neck straps whenever I want with ease, or remove it completley when using a tripod in just seconds.

I used the Utility Loop to secure my camera to a homemade strap. The Utility Loops are very well made, feels very solid and are easy to use. Materials seem like very high quality. These are no-nonsense general purpose connectors that work and look good, adding a finished look to projects and are visually appropriate with camera equipment.

Works extremely well if you like the OP/Tech pro loop camera connector. Some don't trust it, I am a fan.
Use it with a Wapiti strap and split ring connector. Eliminates adjustible buckles. A very unencumbered arrangement.
Allows the strap to hang out of the way when using a tripod or hand holding.
