I use this transformer to run an old 24 volt "edison electric" ? lamp (3 bulbs) that is in my front yard. The original transformer burned out after probably 20 or so years, and this transformer had the same specs (volts, amps, current) so I gave it a try. It works great. No difference from the original other than it's made in China not the USA... Much quieter than the old one too. Not a sound. The original transformer I had used to hum.
