I bought the foam insert version and custom fit an entire Sony FS700 package inside no problem. Case seems unbreakable. I haven't flown with it yet, so that'll be a big "if" but my expectations are high.

Case is used for transporting DLP projector. Strong construction is a big plus for protecting equipment inside. Padding would be better if it were layered more with thinner sheets of foam. Overall, great case.

The case itself is as reported by other reviewers. BUT, I bought it to carry radio equipment on a plane as carry on luggage. The airlines allow 45" (H+W+D). The outside dimensions listed equal exactly 45". The case we received including the handle and ridges that stick out on all sides totalled 46.5" making it useless as carry on. B&H said the dimensions come from the manufacturer. B&H was wonderful about issuing RMA for return and credit.

I'm using this to carry my R/C multirotor transmitter, chargers, and many accessories. It is well built and looks like it could stand up to abuse (I'm not going to toss it off my roof to find out though!), and the pick and pluck foam is easy to work with. Just be sure you leave at least 2 rows of foam between things, I left only 1 row on a couple of items and while it seems to be ok I'm worried that single row might get pulled out eventually. The handle feels solid and fairly comfortable, and the latches hold tight yet are easy to get open (if you've ever had a Pelican, you will really appreciate these latches!).

The only complaint I have is fairly minor, the small piece of plastic that goes on the front where the name plate is slides out too easily. It would be nice if that had some friction or something to hold it in place, otherwise I'm sure it will eventually get lost.

It was a "Wow" when i first open this porta brace hard case.
The external look & clip-on locks gives u a solid feeling and the handle is great for carrying.
The internal have foams that enable you to divide out the space needed for your stuff and yet being protected by the foams.
It fits my Litepanels 1x1 unit, batteries & v-mount adaptor prefectly.
Recommended!

This thing is solid. I have an AR drone helicopter and use it to cart it and all the accessories that go along with it.
I could toss the whole thing down the stairs and I am sure the contents wold be just fine.

The only complaint is it is heavy. With all the stuff in it is 16 lbs. The drone and all its stuff don't way too much so I am sure the case is 13-14 lbs. I don't plan on hiking with this so I'm not too concerned, but it is not for walkinng with unless you plan to attach it to a cart.

I would totally recommend this to anyone needing such a case. The price made it much easier to purchase.

I also could not see anywhere to connect a padded strap.

Use this product for my Fostex FR2 and Mic Accessories. It's got the customizable foam inserts that you can shape any way you prefer for storage. My only qualm with these inserts is that you have to pay for extra ones should you accidentally over rip the ones contained inside.

Additionally, with BH's customs clearance, I ended up paying about a quarter of what you would pay for a direct ship from Portabrace itself, which is a big deal (roughly a 75 dollar difference). On top of that, I got my case across the border to my small town in 3.5 days, which is fantastic.

I bought this case because the price was right. But when I recieved it I fell in love. It compares so well, and is even better than the more expensive ones. I used it with my AF-100 body, charger, batteries, etc, and it works perfect.

Extremely durable. Plenty of room. Perfect for transporting projector. Only downside was price and bottom layer of foam a bit thin IMHO. Foam inserts with perforated knock-outs was great for customizing the size of the inserts for equipment. Just plan well and don't be hasty with the foam sizing as once you pull the foam knock-out off, that's it.

I got this case for my Panasonic Af100, it even fits the rod support and 4 Nikon lenses, batteries and charger. The 'pick&pluck' foam works great, allowing you to fully customize the interior. The casing, handle and locks are very strong & durable, but it can get a bit heavy when carrying around. A shoulder strap would have been a nice addition, but overall this is a great case to protect & transport your gear.

I great way to protect my camera gear. This case locks up tightly, has small square foam inserts that can be removed as necessary to accommodate any shape/size of equipment. Overall, it's a quality case that will take a lot of abuse - so my gear doesn't have to! Isn't that what it's all about?

I bought the pb-2600f to carry a video camera and it's accessories in. I am very satisfied with the purchase. The case is customizable. The latches are very sturdy as is the case. There is a hole on each side of the handle to lock the case with a lock of some kind.

I first saw this case in a retail store and was impressed with the quality of consturction. When I received the case from B&H I was even more impressed! I use it to transport both a Canon GL2 and a Canon Rebel, the case also carries all of the basic accesories I need in the field for both cameras. The case is durable, lightweight and extremely sturdy.

Very Durable case simple to customize the fit of your camera. When you have multiple cases they stack very well. The feet hook on to one another. Completly Water resistant, it has a rubber seal that seals out miosture. Will buy more stuff from porta brace.
