      Everything I expected

      By Couchusa

Comments about Nikon 10x25 Trailblazer ATB Binocular:

Good optics, lightweight, easily carried on a belt, reasonable price. A pleasure to use. I imagine that someone with expertise in binoculars, bird watching. Wildlife viewing, etc., might have reservations, but for the rest of us, this product works.

Comments about Nikon 10x25 Trailblazer ATB Binocular:

I have Nikon camera gear, so decided to try these. Good quality for small, lightweight glasses. Only complaint is the eyepiece caps fit rather loose, so afraid I may lose them.

I was a bit worried when I bought these for my wife but they're Nikon, so how bad could they be? They are perfect for everything we wanted to do, if not better. light weight, very clear, easy to focus.

pretty much what I wanted in a binocular. 10x25 water and fog proof. I do have other pairs, (another pair of Nikons too) but I wanted something lighter in weight. Its hard to hold heavier glasses steady for very long.

Bought these binoculars for multiple uses including sports, hunting and travel. They are great little binoculars with incredible clear views and light weight to make them very easy to carry and packable. Would definitely recommend them. These replaced another brand that I had previously purchased and were more expensive but well worth the extra money.

Use when hiking to watch animals, far off mountains, ships & boats, etc.Very bright and crisp images.Easy to adjust the diopter, focus ring, and the barrels into comfortable eye position.Perfect size and weight, plus they're waterproof.I ended up getting 2 pair.Other reviewers are correct about the eyepiece caps. They slip off way to easy, but i just leave them in the case when i use the binoculars. There are not any lens caps, just the eye piece caps.I don't think the eyepiece cap issue is any reason to pass on this product. If it bugs you that much then just run a small gauge of black twine through a pin hole in the cap and tie the other end around the barrel of the eyepiece. Then they'll always be there.Fyi to fit slightly more compact in the case, both eyepieces rotate clockwise about a full turn an lower into the binoculars a bit. When you're ready to use them you turn the eyepieces counterclockwise until they stop.

Comments about Nikon 10x25 Trailblazer ATB Binocular:

Overall, I would say that these binoculars work great. The 10x mag is perfect for wildlife viewing and the portable size is a real plus. Although they do appear to be waterproof (or at least rainproof), I would not call them "fogproof." They do fog. Also, the lens caps do not have a string or other means of attachment to one another or the binocular body. This makes them too easy to drop or misplace. I haven't lost either of mine yet but can certainly see how this could occur. For the price I paid, these binoculars are really nice but they aren't perfect.

Perfect size for traveling, cruising, or camping. We had received a cheaper binocular from a local large retailer as a gift but returned them because they were not clear. These are very clear, easy to use and easy to carry.

Comments about Nikon 10x25 Trailblazer ATB Binocular:

I own two other Nikon binoculars, but wanted something that's smaller and lighter to take on trips. These very nicely fit the bill. The image quality is very good, the field of view sufficient, and these binoculars give a solid impression, so over all this is a great value. 10x magnification is great for watching things at a distance, although these have an amazingly close focusing capability. For bird watching I would recommend the 8x magnification binoculars. I have no complaints about these binoculars.

This will be a gift for our son, who is in college studying meteorology and is turning 21.
He will be using these in his field work, observing weather and weather patterns. These will be very useful to him. He also likes to do bird-watching, so these will be excellent for that purpose as well. He goes to all the football games at college, so I'm sure he will be glad to have these. I took these out and tried them. I was very impressed with the quality, how light-weight they are and the clarity of the objects as I viewed them through the lens. It seems like a very good product.

It is as good as Nikon SLR optical lens, which are never disappoint for money. But this one has one issue the lens on eye side is too close to eye. It may be caused by Nikon wants to cut the size for specification.

I use this binocular to see areas before taking a photo.[...] The dial for diopter adjustment is great for those who have problems with vision. The only thing that disappointed me was that the eyepiece caps are separate for each eyepieces and its easy to loose.

Great for a traveling set, small, lightweight and crisp, clear images. The size is also the downside trade-off with it's smaller field of view.

Comments about Nikon 10x25 Trailblazer ATB Binocular:

Stellar optics with sharp, high-contrast images. Amazingly, they have a field of view similar to 10x40 binoculars, but half the size and weight. Very short minimum focus distance allows good views of small critters. Added bonus that they're waterproof (but haven't tested that).

Only minor downside is the adjustable extension mechanism of the eye-pieces. They work OK with glasses, but give a much more limited field of view. Without glasses, you have to remember to turn them to the extended position to avoid eyelashes hitting the lenses and leaving smudges.

Needed to replace a set of compact binoculars my wife uses at concerts/theater. These provide improved magnification while retain a wide angle view that similarly priced competition cannot match.
